Today, more and more people are becoming conscious of what they’re
putting into their bodies. Thanks to the numerous scientific studies,
vegetarian diets have finally “arrived” and are here to stay.
Even
hard-core meat eaters are realizing there’s no getting away from
fruits and vegetables if they want to live long, healthy, and active
lives.
However, realizing this is one thing, and actually getting your
diet on the fruit and veggie track is another. It's a lot easier if you
can
cook your own vegetarian food.
Cooking's
fun!
Many
of us are daunted by cooking, let alone vegetarian cooking. Even if we
do venture into vegetarian cooking, it’s hard for many of us
to see beyond the regular fare available in restaurants (too spicy,
rich, and greasy, this food is best when consumed occasionally), beyond
the salad, and tofu (too bland and boring).
Just think of all the
variety, all the wonderful combinations and permutations of vegetarian
dishes we would be missing out on, if this is all there is to
vegetarian food!
So what
do we do? In my opinion, the best way to take advantage of all that’s
available vegetarian-wise is to make your own veggie food. With easy
recipes, cooking vegetarian food is easy,
and fun – and more importantly, it’s good for your health!
